Mark got in touch with Nico about turning his white shed, which had seen much better days, into a nice stone wall. The challenge was to build a new wall matching the existing very old wall on the other side of the patio.
The idea was to add a water feature in front of wall, Nico had to incorporate a tap into the wall ready to be dripping water into a trough as soon as it arrives.
What we’ve accomplished:
1.
We had to start by dismantling the old shed a clearing the area
2.
Break a part of the concrete slab that was under the shed in order to create a proper solid foundation strong enough to support 20 tons of wall.
3.
Build a 10m by 1.6m high stone wall, double faced and create 4 nice raised beds in front. Also allow for a water tap to run in the wall, ready to create a nice water feature as soon as the trough arrives!
