Catherine got in touch with Nico about installing a patio in the garden.

We went for beautiful and very unforgiving limestone flags, the install had to be very precise as the flagstones where so well finished that the slightest level difference would show.

The result was worth the effort as Catherine’s patio looks stunning!

1.

We had to start by preparing the ground by getting rid of the old concrete slabs and dirt and gravel.

2.

Dig the ground deep enough to allow for 100mm layer of sub-base, that we levelled and compacted. This will give a very stable base for our patio.

3.

Lay those beautiful limestone slabs on a full mortar bed with a gradient allowing water drainage away from the house. We finished by grouting the full patio for a beautiful effect.
